Parent Information

Welcome to the FHTB Family.  We look forward to seeing and hearing you cheer on your child from the sidelines.  Here is some information to ensure that your child's season is safe and fun.

Equipment

All players must wear a league cap and shirt. No jewelry can be worn with the exception of Medical Alert necklaces and/or bracelets. No metal cleats are allowed (and regular running shoes are acceptable).  It is mandatory that long pants be worn.  NO SHORTS (for safety reasons).

All players must wear a batting helmet (supplied by player) with the chinstrap fastened when they are either on deck, batting or running the bases.

All t-ball players must use a suitable ball glove. Ball gloves for Blastball players are optional, though many choose to use them.

Canceled Games

If the city has closed the diamonds due to weather or field conditions, games are canceled and the website will be updated accordingly.

The home page will be updated by 5:30pm weekdays and 8:00am Saturdays indicating whether games have been cancelled.

If the games are not canceled and it either rains just prior or during a game, the two coaches will confer and together decide if the game should be called off. If the coaches agree to cancel a game prior to game time, the two coaches will contact the parents to inform them of the game cancellation.

All parents and coaches are expected to arrive at all games despite the weather conditions unless they have received an email or phone call notifying them of cancelled games or the website indicates that games are cancelled.

If any lightning is observed just prior or during a game, the game is to be cancelled.

Smoking Policy

Forest Hill T-Ball requires that all parents, volunteers and spectators refrain from smoking within close proximity to the sportsfield and benches.

Tax Receipts

Effective for the 2017 and subsequent taxation years, the Children’s Fitness Tax credit has been eliminated. Please visit Canada Revenue Agency's website for more information.
